    Leaders' Conference 2025 -  Barcelona

    April 7-11, 2025

    Historic. Trendy. Vibrant. Colorful. Cosmopolitan.

For five days, Assurity’s top producers can revel in this sun-drenched seaside city, famous for its incredible architecture and vibrant culture.  Located in the northeast corner of Spain on the Mediterranean coast, Barcelona is the capital city of the Catalonia region, surrounded by mountains, beaches and islands.

It’s celebrated for its mix of the very old and the trendiest of new. Visitors can walk historic neighborhoods with cobblestone pavements, visit Roman ruins, medieval buildings and Gothic cathedrals or marvel at contemporary wonders, from designer shops to the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art.

    Hotel Arts Barcelona

This Ritz-Carlton property is a Barcelona landmark, renowned for its luxury and its location “where city meets sea.” Jutting 44 floors above the Mediterranean Sea, visitors can spot its glass and steel outline almost anywhere in the city.

Here, Assurity’s best will enjoy astounding views of the city, beachfront and sea, not to mention luxurious rooms, a rooftop spa, a waterfront swimming pool, an infinity swimming pool, beautiful gardens and five gastronomic restaurants.

    Dining

Barcelona’s Mediterranean climate gives it access to some of the freshest produce and ingredients from land and sea. Its cuisine is as diverse as the city itself, offering traditional Catalan flavors and many international influences, including Spanish, French, Italian, Chinese and Japanese.

Travel bloggers tout Barcelona’s buzzing restaurants and incredible tapas bars and paella, all part of a destination boasting beloved local joints alongside 19 Michelin-starred venues. Its food markets burst with fresh produce and Leaders’ Conference members will visit its best known, the historic Mercat de la Boqueria.

    Culture and Architecture

Barcelona is home to nine UNESCO World Heritage sites. Its rich history blended with modern character makes it an epicenter for art and culture, with more festivals, galleries and museums than one can count.

Tourists flock to the inspiring buildings of famed native architect, Antoni Gaudí, whose iconic works and influences can be found across the city. Leaders’ Conference attendees will tour Gaudi’s most recognized – yet unfinished work – the breathtaking La Sagrada Familia, a temple dedicated to the Holy Family. The most visited monument in Spain, its construction began in 1882 and is not expected to be finished before 2026.

Barcelona is also home to a wealth of other architectural styles, from Gothic and Renaissance to Modernism.
